It doesn’t seem right to compare the off-road capabilities of the average 2011 Super Duty to those of the purpose-built Ram Power Wagon or Ford F-150 SVT Raptor. While the Job 1 Super Duty’s 390 horsepower and 735 pounds-feet of torque give it incredible hauling and towing performance, we wanted to see how it handles a variety of off-road situations.įirst, let’s put things in perspective. The 2011 Ford F-Series Super Duty definitely has strong towing and hauling capabilities, mostly because of its new 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 diesel engine and six-speed TorqShift automatic transmission.
